Asthma Phase 1: Primary Protocol
Designed to improve impaired quality of life
Lung Cleanse™
2 tablespoons, once in the morning and once in the evening
Supports the normal function and health of the lungs. The formula contains traditional Chinese medicinal herbs that help dispel wind-heat, and remove damp and toxic heat. Lung Cleanse™ augments the pulmonary function through the clearance of environmental and bacterial toxins.
Quercetin
2 capsules, once in the morning and once in the evening
Quercetin powerfully and favorably modifies the allergic response in potentially life-saving ways. Quercetin reduces the hyper-reactivity of the airways in allergic asthma. It reduces the number and activation of inflammatory immune system cells, cuts histamine levels, and relaxes airway smooth muscle. Quercetin is more competent in inhibiting IL-8 than anti-allergic drug disodium cromoglycate, a medicine used to prevent the symptoms of asthma.
Inflam-FX™
2 tablespoons, once in the morning and once in the evening
Inflam-FX™ an anti-inflammatory product formulated with a combination of traditional Chinese herbs and modern nutraceuticals. Based on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), Inflam-FX™ helps remove damp heat and relieve inflammatory conditions.
Quench-FX™
2 capsules, once in the morning and once in the evening
A combination of naturally sourced antioxidants formulated to counteract oxidative challenge in biological processes. Endogenous and exogenous reactive oxygen species, such as superoxide anion, hydroxyl radical, hypohalite radical, and hydrogen peroxide, and reactive nitrogen species, such as nitric oxide, peroxynitrite, and nitrite, play a major role in the airway inflammation and are determinants of asthma severity.
Acomodil™
2 tablespoons, once in the morning
The interplay between neuroendocrine activity and psychological stress exacerbates allergic asthma. Psychological stress leads to eosinophilic airway inflammation through activation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal pathway and autonomic nervous system. This is followed by the secretion of stress hormones into the blood, including glucocorticoids, epinephrine, and norepinephrine, which enhance Th2 and type 17 T-helper (Th17)-type asthma profiles in humans.
Resp-FX™
2 tablespoons, once in the morning and once in the evening
An airway enhancing botanical formula which decreases resistance in the respiratory airways and increases airflow to the lungs. Resp-FX™ also enhances alveolar ventilation and augments pulmonary function through the clearance of bacterial and environmental contaminants.
Vitamin D
5 drops, once in the evening
Low blood levels of vitamin D have been linked to increased risk of asthma attacks in children and adults with asthma. There has been a growing interest in the potential role of vitamin D in asthma management, because it might help to reduce upper respiratory infections (such as the common cold) that can lead to exacerbations of asthma.
